Our Mission & Vision
OUR MISSION
Bringing God’s hope and healing to broken young lives.
VISION
We see:
-
Broken young lives transformed into agents of hope through a holistic approach that centres people on Jesus;
-
Teen Challenge QLD as a sought after, trusted authority in the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) sector because of its compelling track record of lives impacted and generations shaped; and
-
Adequate resources and partnerships to sustain the vision.
VALUES
-
Relationships: We are deeply committed to unified, purpose-filled relationships, both within the organisation and with all external partners and stakeholders.
-
God's will and provision: We believe fruitfulness and provision is found in His will. Seeking Him and His wisdom is a priority.
-
Transformation: We promote pathways of transformation. God takes broken lives, puts them in healing communities and shapes them into agents of His Kingdom.
-
Integrity: Our commitment to integrity promotes a culture of honesty, transparency, trust and accountability. This shapes our desire for a sustainable approach to governance, stewardship, operations and ministry.
“Our heart is to see young people not only set free from their addictions but also to find wholeness – spiritually, mentally and physically.” - Joanne Hobbs, Executive Director Teen Challenge.
